AND THE WINNERS ARE…… Five lucky people walked away from the Avon Winter Concert with winning tickets and extra money, just in time for the Holiday Season! Over 1200 raffle books were sold in a two-month time period, producing a $5,000 profit for the Playground Committee. We'd like to extend our THANKS to all participating families for helping make our Raffle a Big Success! Your hard work and tremendous effort is greatly appreciated. With your continued support, it's only a matter of time before we hear our children's laughter on a brand, new playground! |

SPECIAL THANKS FOR A SUCCESSFUL NIGHT! In spite of downpours and threats of a tornado, the Basket Auction hosted by Climb on Board was a huge success with close to $8,000 being raised. Incredible baskets were raffled off at the Avon School, thanks to the generosity of local and national businesses as well as the Avon Teachers, Parents and Students and our own Barrington Residents and Organizations. Along with a generous donation by Mayor John Rink and City Council, our total fundraising efforts to date are $35,000. Such community spirit and support is bringing us one step closer to reaching our goal of $80,000 for the Rebuilding of the Avon School Playground. |

ADELPHIA'S FUN NIGHT OUT A SUCCESS! THANKS to all who attended the Pre-Game Fun Night Out at Adelphia's in October. A buffet of delicious food, free drinks, satellite TV sports coverage, a 50/50 raffle and basket auction provided a fun-filled two hours for everyone. One lucky winner even went home with a pair of Philadelphia Eagles Tickets! Due to the overwhelming support of Avon parents and Barrington residents and the generosity of local and national companies, close to $3,000 was raised for the rebuilding of the playground. Our heartfelt appreciation to all the volunteers who worked very hard to ensure an enjoyable and successful night! |
